Many factors contribute to Dundee's unique cultural mix. Home to the UK's top art college - Duncan of Jordanstone and it's status as a hub in game design many creatives have flocked to the city.


There are three major art galleries which offer a mix of contemporary and traditional artwork and artefacts - the DCA, the McManus and the V&A design museum.


Many unique independent craft based business have established themselves in the city as well as some of the most progressive bars and eateries seen outside of London.


The theatre and music venues have also showcased some of the world's top performers.


The city also benefits from a smaller footprint than many others, making it accessible by foot and has it's own cultural quarter in the west end of the city focused around the Perth Road.
