When it comes to entertainment in Dundee visitors and locals are spoiled for choice.

 

Dundee Rep and Scottish Dance Theatre sit at the cultural heart of Scotland and the City of Dundee. Founded in 1939, the Rep building is a centre of creative energy, a space for engagement with a wide range of art forms, whilst also playing a lead role in arts education and engagement across the city and beyond.

 

The Whitehall Theatre is an Art Deco building hosting drama, musicals and pantomimes in a 700 seater auditorium.

 

There are also three cinemas in the city - the Odeon, Cineworld and an independent cinema housed within the Dundee Contemporary Arts Centre showing more quirky and off the wall offerings.

 

The Reading Rooms is an underground club renowned for its ability to cross musical genres
